Tianyi Huang, AI Research Fellow at the App Inventor Foundation, is leading a UI/UX design workshop on March 21, 2026, from 4:00–5:00 PM EST, hosted in collaboration with App-In Club to help participants prepare for the Global Appathon.

In this interactive session, participants explore key principles of usability, visual design, and user experience in MIT App Inventor. The workshop is designed to help students understand what makes an app both functional and engaging, while strengthening their approach to app development with greater clarity, polish, and purpose.
