The Teacher Excellence Awards, presented by the App Inventor Foundation, recognize educators around the world who use MIT App Inventor in innovative ways to promote technological empowerment and computational action. The Awards are currently on hiatus.
2023 Teacher Excellence Awards
Hailing from Malaysia, Italy, India, Brazil, and China, seven teachers were recognized in the second Teacher Excellence Awards for their unwavering dedication to their students, their inventive approaches to teaching App Inventor, and their outsized impact on their communities.
2022 Teacher Excellence Awards
Sponsored by Amazon Future Engineer and Mobile CSP, the first Teacher Excellence Awards ran in conjunction with the 2022 Summer Appathon and recognized ten educators from seven countries.
