David Petty, Education Program Manager at the App Inventor Foundation, is presenting a virtual one-hour workshop for National AI Literacy Day on March 27, 2026, from 2:00–3:00 PM EDT.

In the workshop, “The latest with MIT App Inventor for AI / data science / computational action,” he is introducing educators to MIT App Inventor components that support mobility, generative AI, and data collection and analysis. Participants are also exploring the App Inventor Foundation’s free, open-source curricular units and the new Classroom Portal for managing student projects through classroom-ready live demos.
