The Congressional App Challenge team is running a bootcamp for all middle and high school students for a high-energy, hands-on workshop where they'll turn their ideas into a real app concept—and get it ready for the 2026 Congressional App Challenge. The afternoon will include ideation, paper prototyping and coding. App Inventor Education Specialist Karen Lang will be demo-ing how to take an app idea from paper to an actual app using the App Inventor platform. Students will leave with some introductory knowledge of the App Inventor platform and the confidence to take their own app idea to the next level with a working mobile app.
