Education Program Manager David Petty and Instructional Designer Anqi Zhou of the App Inventor Foundation are leading a two-session online workshop at the Kanagawa Institute of Technology (KAIT) on February 25 and February 27, 2026, from 10:30 AM–12:10 PM Japan time.

In the workshop, they are introducing international students from Thailand and Indonesia to the computational action philosophy and guiding undergraduate and graduate students with computer science and engineering backgrounds to use MIT App Inventor for rapid prototyping. Participants build and iterate on app ideas that connect technical theory with community-driven problem solving.
